It's your fault
It all started on Friday the 9th
That's the day she was born
Her cries went unheard into the night
She had no mother of her own

Her daddy drank a lot
And hung out with thugs
Never cared where she went
Or whose motorcycle she got on

Then one day her daddy was brought in
With a couple of guys
They all turned him in
And daddy was copped

Then they found the girl
Back at his house
She did not want to leave
But they said, "Hey that's tough."

They put her in an orphanage
And before the day was done
She had two new parents
A dad and a mom

And they took her
And they forced her
To try to change her ways
Then it was too much
For that girl
She ran away

The cops went after her
But all that they found
Was a note where she used to live,
And a hundred pounds

The note said 'it's your fault.
It's not mine
You forced me, I didn't want too bend
Had you listened
Too my words
A different ending might have been
But you forced me, tried to change me
Never heard the words I said
It's too late, and it's your fault
Take this as a lesson and then
Listen when we speak
Take my words to heart
Never let there be a repeat
Never let someone else fall.'

A few miles away
By the sea shore
A four-year-old girl
Lost her little doll
Her brother jumped in, tried to get it for her
At the bottom of the sea, he found more then he wanted
He found our girl,
Looking peaceful and wanted.

Authors note:
Um, I don't know if the term 'copped' is real, but in this case it means he
was put in jail. Also, when I said the bottom of the sea, I mean she
committed suicide. Review please!
