Concerning Kairi and Alexi

Kairi is a reincarnation and great prophet of Aria. She fought a great battle with the wizard Alexi, who had control of a great crystal. This crystal brought life and strength to the land, but in Alexi’s hands it had been used for evil, to rule Chimera. It had been Aria, the great goddess, in the guise of peasant woman, who had brought the crystal to the land and gifted it to the king. It was then handed on to each successive generation whose duty it was to protect it and keep the peace. Alexi was a young boy in the castle in the time of King Argon’s reign, a most prosperous and successful time. Alexi worked as a servant to the king’s adviser, a wizard, and in his spare time would learn the craft. When he was in his teens, he got his first glimpse of the crystal and immediately desired it. When King Argon died, his son, Vanada, was only 15. Alexi was 25, and using his powers he overpowered Vanada, and took control of the crystal. Kairi was born seven years later, when the land was all in ruins. She lived a simple peasant’s life, but she often dreamed of something greater. She started to have visions of the great Aria, and longed to join the fabled race of Arianan warriors. She was told stories of them and their great strength and often dreamt of becoming a warrior. Her parents didn’t condone her choice of career and told her to quit dreaming. Most of the people’s living in the land believed that the Arianan warriors had let them down by allowing Alexi to take the crystal. After all, they were supposed to be watching and protecting the crystal. Many started to fear the warriors, and kept away from their island. The warriors had been told to allow this to happen, everything has its purpose. They knew that from this turmoil, a great warrior would rise up and lead them all in a great battle against Alexi and his minions. This warrior was a reincarnation of the great Aria herself. At the age of 20, Kairi met a strange woman in the forest near her village. She was tending to a vegetable patch that she had hidden in the forest from the minions. The woman asked for some food, and being kind-hearted Kairi gave her plenty. The woman was unusual. She seemed so ancient and at the same time full of spirit and youthfulness. In return the woman told her many stories of the warriors and offered to teach her to fight. Kairi accepted and each day she would meet the woman in the forest clearing. She learned not just the skills of a warrior, but also to read and write (better than the crude words she learnt from her mother), play the flute, meditate and sing. One day she went to the clearing and was met by a band of Arianan warriors. They were speaking to the old woman, who appeared to be their leader. She turned and introduced Kairi to the warriors and set a proposition before her. Would she like to be a warrior? She accepted immediately, and set off, leaving her familiar world behind. This was her dream. The villagers all believed that a minion had killed her. She left for the Arianan island to begin the rigorous training ahead of her. Most of her fellow warriors were jealous of her, since she seemed to be favoured and she had started so late, being 20 years old

Concerning the warriors

Ariana is the main priestess Priestess guides the warriors, and speaks on behalf of Aria Priestess tests candidates that have been called to try for warriorhood No bonding (marriage) and therefore no children Families of warriors live on the main island, Pyresa. All females on the island are called to be tested to see if they are fit to be warriors Warriors are picked between the ages of 8 and 14, to start their training Great honour to be a warrior Peace keepers on this world (Chimera (fantasy)) They are stationed on all the islands, assigned as ‘guards’ to the leaders of each island They look out for potential warriors on other islands Must posses a certain aura and soul. If they do not posses it, they are not called All warriors are psychic to some extent, most learn to extend that through rigorous training General appearance: Tall, Muscular, Long hair ( sometimes pinned back, though mostly left down with a band around head.), agile, graceful, layers of clothing, always carry spear, good fighters, tanned, some Indian like jewellery, lightening quick, sandals with thick soles, excellent hearing, sight, touch, taste, etc. All warriors wear a necklace with a crystal on it. This is a sacred stone that protects the warrior and gives her strength. Without it, she is exposed to attack

Concerning Tinity

Trinity is special, but doesn’t know it. She is a direct descendent from the line of Kairi, and is therefore considered a reincarnation of the great Aria. She has special powers: telepathy, telekinesis, all her senses are magnified, she has great strength and agility, beauty radiates from her, the ability to blend into her surroundings, speed. Trinity wears a crystal around her neck that protects her and gives her strength and basically gives her life. She made the mistake of revealing this to Ariel, who uses it against her. Trinity loved/loves Ariel They were engaged to be bonded, but he killed her family and almost killed her She helped him implement his plan for domination, she was blinded by her love for him, nearly lead to the downfall of the Arianan warriors. Had a vision of the great Aria and Kairi, which saved her and gave her strength.
