A New Beginning

Stars shining brightly in the velvet sky, Waiting for midnight to arrive. Ready to welcome the new year- A new beginning. Getting ready to welcome the new changes That occur at the stroke of midnight. A chance to set things right, To make amends from forgotten fights. A clean sheet of paper The board wiped clean. To me, A new year is A new beginning.
