In this huge practical joke we laughingly call reality, everyone has a different way of looking at things. This is mine.

Who: Hello. My name is Nicole, aka Dare-Soñar.

What: What follows is a collection of my “humor columns,” which are basically tiny essays in which I rant and laugh about things that have happened to me in my life.

The Story: I started writing humor columns as a way to vent about life back in 8th grade. I am now in college. My writing style has changed a lot since that time, as have I as a person. Looking back, though, most of my opinions seem to be the same except now I seem to cuss more. Maturity at its finest.

The Present: These have been edited as of February 3, 2009. I edited them for fluidity, grammar, and smoothness. So now when you read, hopefully some sentences actually make sense and don’t make you wince as your brain cramps. I’ve deleted some of the, in my opinion, particularly bad columns. I’ve also attempted to mark the original date in which I wrote them, which was way more difficult than I thought it would be.

The Future: I will, from time to time, continue to post. I think I will be getting back onto the boat, to be honest. Life is funny again now that I’m in college.

Why: God, if only me and my therapist knew that one…
