Raven Raven,
What do you see?
A few dead men,
Through borrowed eyes,
Killed men's taken,
Through violent war?
Or peaceful sleep,
Come from battle,
In death some peace,
Denied in life?

Raven Raven,
When is the time,
That we shall see,
What has foundered,
Fallen failing,
Breaking itself,
And all they know?
Can we know it,
Before it comes
And defeat it,
Evade this fate,
And destiny?

Raven Raven,
Is your child fed?
The flesh calls out,
And the death back.
But this your bread,
Broken to feed,
And give life free,
From death it comes.
So in the end,
Cycles go on,
You see it all.
