I am Sorry if I offended anybody in my first chapter. I will be nicer this time. Because my next Object of Raving about is… Pulls lever on slot machine and waits. Machine stops…Music. (Yay)
Okay my first complaint having to do with music is Products of the studio. For those of you who do not know music those are people who sound a lot different live, whether it be talking or singing at their show, than they do on their CD. The major groups of people like this that I am going to diss are people from other countries. Especially Great Brittan.
The first person I will set my sights on is Dido (I think that is how you spell it). She sings beautifully, but when she talks, she has a very British accent. She does not even have a hint of it in her voice when she is singing, though. How does she do it?
Another group of people like this are (Prepare to go back to 1997 people) the Spice Girls. I saw an old episode of SNL recently with them on it. When they sing, they have some pretty American sounding voices, but when they talk, it’s British. However, if you listen closely, you hear some British accents in there, whereas Dido has not even a hint of British accent, and her song “White Flag”… I’ll save that for the chapter on bad music.
That’s it about Products of the studio. Join us next chapter for a crash course on Bad Music.
P.S. Beware of the jerk who is going around flaming every story he can get his hands on. He got me already. In addition, on this very essay thingy too. (How rude) But I will not stop writing until everything I want to ramble about, has been rambled about.
