Title: Summer Time Memory

Author: AnnaSun

Rating: G

I feel happy for the first time in ages,

My face is lit up like a thousand street lamps turned on,

The swallows swoop across the sky like an RAF display team,

It’s hot today and I’m smiling,

I sit by the water,

Letting my toes tingle as they touch the cold water,

Its Summer time,

I wish I could go back now,

But these memories are locked in my mind.

AN:/ This poem was another one of my memories from childhood. This one is set during the Summer month. What did you think? Any improvements?
