Sometimes it doesn’t’t seem the right moment,

Your lips quiver and you stutter to get the words out

‘Will….will….will….will you marry me?’

It doesn’t’t come out right and you wander if she heard you,

So you start again,

‘Will….will….will….will you marry me?’

She looks at you,

You wander if she’s happy or sad,

She enlaces her fingers into yours,

Brings her face up to yours,

And you fall into a lingering kiss,

She looks at you overjoyed.

‘I love you’

‘I love you to’ you say.

You finally get the words out.

‘Will you marry me?’

‘Yes’ is the longed words you hear her reply.
