Sometimes you feel more alone in the daylight than you ever do in the shadows. This is the opening poem for the 8th version of my web-site.

Title: Alone in the Sunlight
Author: Heather P.

Sunshine and light,
They can not replace your arms.

The green of the grass and leaves,
Only serve to remind me of your eyes,
(No matter how blue they were.)

I swear that even the flowers smell like you,
And so does the wind.

So I will sit here for eternity,
(Waiting so patiently.)
Until you return.

But I can not see you on my horizon anymore.
Where are you my dear?

Have you have gone into a garden of your own,
And left me in my own to be lonely,
Forevermore?
