CL1
[CLONE]

FILE 000
Prologue_

[2000 AD]
Human cloning was illegal, of course. But the scientists tried it, anyway. Many were not successful in creating the perfect human.

Except for those working on the PROJECT CL at C Laboratories.

C Laboratories created approximately 1000 clones, becore they were discovered by the government and terminated. Records of the activity were destroyed.

The human clones, however, were never found.

[2050 AD]
The world has environment has been damaged and destroyed, due to numerous cases of overusing of resources, pollution, glacial melting, and so forth.

[2100 AD]
Technology is high on the rise. Artificial Intelligence has been perfected. Dreams from the past century, such as the defying of gravity has become a reality, as citizens travel by air every day.

[2198 AD]
A man by the name of Nicholas Asada rose to power. He had fame, wealth, and the connections. But... he was prejudiced.

Those who opposed him and his ideas were killed. This resulted in the beginning of the Global Massacre, a mortal Apocalypse.

During the Global Massacre, entire races of people were wiped out.

At the peak of destruction, an army arrived. They had no indentification, and were rumored to be the 1000 clones of PROJECT CL.

Most of them were 'exterminated,' but not before the assasination of Director Asada.

[0 Post Global Massacre/2200 AD]
Asada's son, Nicholas Asada II steps in. The world must be rebuilt again.

[13 PGM]
Asada II still holds position as the Director. The world's population is still considerably less.

All continents and people now share one language, one faith, one currency.

One of the largest cities today is known as Digitropolis. A center of evergrowing science and technology, politics and the arts, it is a major influence on the rest of the world.

And this is where our story begins.
