All the Good Ones Are Taken

It appears to me
that all the good ones are taken
If I'm wrong and/or mistaken,
somebody let me know
Where can I find you
and how will I get there.
All are questions with
answers predetermined
by fate
So rhetorical that they
claim fate
and maybe that's why
destiny claims them.
So let me ask:
Are all the good ones taken?
Such a pitiful attempt to alter
A predetermined outcome
A day dream deferred
And I've festered too much like a sore
so I'll run.
And through all of this,
the conclusion remains evident;
all the good ones are taken
and as a result so many hearts will
be breaking
including mine…
