I Let the darkness in, it was the biggest mistake of my life
For all I see now is darkness and strife.
I see the darkness and it over whelms my heart,
It would be pleasant if it weren’t tearing my apart.
The darkness chills even the warmest of suns,
It over whelms the light and sends it on the run.
I would like to scream in pain,
But my voice is lost thinking were insane.
It doesn’t like me in any sense at all,
I was lost as soon as I started to fall.

For the Darkness want to Consume us all.

I let the Darkness in,
Now my will is not my own.
Darkness consumes all,
And never leaves you alone.
The time is up,
The game is over,
Darkness wins.
I am lost to its will,
I cannot think,
I cannot dream,
With the darkness in me all I want is to scream.

Because I let the Darkness in.

With all the pain I feel,
Its as if nothing’s real.
Life is slow and long,
The thrill is fully gone.
Darkness has consumed my soul,
It has taken its toll.

Pain is all I feel,
Darkness is all I see.
With you now,
The light is fighting back.
The warmth starts to return,
Its not so cold in here now.
But it’s a long way to the top,
The road is full of pain and death.

I want to win,
I want to run,
Darkness ain’t fun,
I want to hide,
I want to scream,
But with darkness here I can’t even live.

I let the Darkness in,
It causes pain and death.
It ends life and turns you insane,
But there’s a way to fight,
A way to bring back the light.
The warmth can return,
The sun can shine again.
I used you,
Now you use me.
Bring back the light,
Make the sun shine again.
Send the darkness on the run,
Bring sanity back in.
Don’t let it win,
Fight tooth and nail.
Show who’s boss,
Use the warmth and light to make your life bright.
