THE DARKNESS
It's all around us
Everywhere we go
You cant escape the fear
Of the darkness
You hear a noise
And try to blow it off
But deep down inside,
You know that you are scared
And no one really knows
What lerks in the shadows beyond
And you never know ,
What's gonna happen next
But I guess you gottta go on
With life.

And Until the darkness comes creeping your way
And all your fears, worries, and problems are revealed
It's then that you gotta face it
The biggest fear of all
Going face to face with the darkness
Which you try to keep tucked away in the corner
But sooner or later
Comes out
And what is the darkness you may wonder
Its something that every man, women, and child
Fears the most
Its all the problems, worries, and fears that every single person has
About life.
Which sooner or later it's gonna come for you
Maybe not today
And maybe not tomorrow
But trust me the day will come
When your gonna have to face it
But until then,
Until the dreaded darkness comes
Until it takes you by surprise,
Until it comes peeking around the corner
Just waiting for you to come
Until you come in contact with the darkness
Face to face..
You gotta take life
Just one day at a time.
And remember,
When the darkness comes for you
Don't let it over whelm you
Don't let it swallow you whole
For the darkness is all around you
And eventually it will go away
Back in the shadows of your soul
And sooner or later
The darkness will come back again.
Who knows how many times.
No one really counts
But until then,
You better watch out
For you never know when it will come
It takes many different shapes and forms.
And it likes to take you by surprise
