Life’s Symphony

By: Chicago

Leap, jump, run, spin;

The most graceful dancer here.

Red and gold, orange and black

So little, yet much to fear.

Twist, twirl, flow, glide;

Power’s epitome.

Ebb and flowing ever more

Freedom it will always be.

Romp, fly, swish, swirl;

Playing with the leaves.

Grace is the name of this dear one,

Joyous laughter on the breeze.

Squeeze, mold, hide, flood;

Opposites attract.

Mix and mingling always there.

Upon each other they reflect.

Roll, stretch, bend, quake;

The mother of us all.

Sturdy, grounded, reliable

Our home of this we call.

Five dancers always take this stage,

They move in harmony.

Fire, water, air, light, and earth

Move together to life’s symphony.

A.N. Ok. The idea for this has been bugging me all day so I wrote it down, but I’m not sure that I lie the way it turned out. Any comments, suggestions, praise or flames y’all have would be more than welcomed!

Hasta!
