The lost door
Barrier after barrier
The cheery mask wore
The cold exterior
The beating heart
An inner room beyond that locked door
Where I had used to lay unfound
But He
who had been formed within all these barricade
He
who had found my shivering figure
now lay beside me
us seeking solace for our sins
within each other’s embrace.
Blanket of shadows
that He had brought along,
Caressing our silhouettes
with its silky texture
Cold, foreign to beholders
Yet, protective…
Covering us safely.
No one will know
No one will find us
No one will really know us anymore.
Hands clasped within each other’s
we will keep on going
Never will we get broken by others
Whom we had already shut out.
The door is gone.
A/n: This 2nd poem is not a happy or optimistic one. It is not about someone coming to free you from your inner loneliness. It is more abouta personalready falling into the embrace of his or demon. The door is gone. I am too in love with my inner demons, to let anyone come in and change that.
