Kira walked out to my car. "How did it go today?" I asked. "Oh. it was okay, I guess. Dr. Elton still has that awful hair. But other than that, it was alright." "Any revelations?" "Nah." Allow me to explain: Kira is now living with my family and me. We adopted her. Her Dad is in jail, hopefully making all kinds of new friends (wink). Her hair is slowly but surely growing back. She has about two inches of fuzz now. She's going to a therapist once a week, as enforced by the judge who ruled on her case. Daddy's in for life. And I suppose that about wraps everything up, eh? Oh, one more thing - I have a new boyfriend. Or at least, that's what Kira thinks. He's just a friend. He'll ask Kira out in a few minutes, and she'll say yes. And who knows - maybe if it works out, you'll get a sequel.
