BLISS
By K-chan

I kiss your closed eyes lids,
'Open them for me.'
Giggling you shake your head,
'Things have never looked better.'
Hands brush your hair aside,
'Listen to the story on my voice.'
You face me and move your ear from my lips,
'Your words are a comfort.'
My fingers brush yours hopefully,
'Touch on my truth.'
Palm over hand you laugh,
'Your skin is smooth.'
Salt water on my face as I lean close,
'Smell the reality of my emotions.'
You breathe to the right,
'Your scent is of perfume.'
My redness falls to your lips,
'Taste my bitter existence.'
Smiling sweetly against my life,
You choose not to see or hear,
And won't feel or sense.
You cannot taste my blood on your tongue.
'And it has never tasted sweeter.'

A/N: Strangely inspired by 'Scar Tissue' by Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Some
people live in blissful ignorance, and misinterpret a call for help because
they refuse to leave their blind safe haven. Listen not to the words your
friends and family speak; but the meaning hidden in their voice. Suicide
can be prevented, mental issues can be cured and neglect resolved. So
wether your bleeding or tasting blood, ignorance is bliss until it's too
late. Do something now.
