Robyn & Mistress – thanks for the reviews. ah well. Who cares if the friends know? They’d get on my case if I said anything anyway.  Work better?

Things have been slow for so long now. I have been sitting back and watching people’s lives go by, my friends’ lives. Can I really say they are my friends? We rarely talk and we’re both caught up in our own worlds. They have their school, their drama and I have my studies. I say let them worry about Sadie Hawkins and Prom like those things will matter 5 years from now. I’ll stick to my exams. School and work are my life now, I try to make room for friends but they haven’t made room for me. It works I suppose, so many things of high school seem so immature now. College is a whole new world guys, your high school is too sheltered so grow up. You’re going to find out that if you’re depressed people will not care. Learn to get along without help from others. You’re reaching a point at which you can take care of yourself. Feel free to ask for advice but it’s your problem any way you look at it. Your idealistic views and childish outlook on the world and what’s happening isn’t going to cut it out here. Your thoughts of hope and inspiration don’t mean a whole lot, you learn to keep them to yourself and maybe even dare to nurture them a little. Its not a bad thing, the real world is simply harsh. It has its upsides, I have mine but you have to find your own. Make sure you find someone to share it with because when you find something worth cherishing and there’s no one there, you realize how independent you must be out here. Its not all its cracked up to be. So grow up now, because you’re not ready for the real world. And when you are, I’ll be there. Until then…you know where to find me.
