Life goes by
I watch it flow
I refuse to join
And tell my 'tale of woe'
I don't know what they are thinking
What's wrong with their lives?
You don't understand...
Silent emotion.
That's what I have.
It's sweet and wonderful.
But they don't understand.
It's hard to explain.
This language doesn't fit.
No matter what I say, no matter what I do
They'll never understand
But perhaps I can teach you?
Let me take you
To land of glory
Just sit down
And listen to its story.
It is a world all its own
But don't go looking for it
To see it you must be shown.
I warn you now
Once you're there
There's no coming back
No returning here.
I can say, you won't want to
Leave, that is.
It will be your home
A forever bliss.
Your emotions will be locked away
Like a little secret
A secret that is all your own
Be careful how you treat it!
This world is white and black
And red and orange and blue
The colors are more exotic
Then our own dull hue
The sky is made of rainbows
The water crystalline
Beware, the pretty wind blows
Almost all of the time
The storms are huge and fearsome
They make you want to dance
The sun smiles gently
Like a loving mother
And at night, when shadows should creep
The moon is always there to guide your way
To your bed for some lovely sleep.
Welcome all
I gather you
To come and merry play
To sing and dance and-wait
What did you just say?
You saw a shadow?
Here?
In bliss?
Don't be ridiculous.
But I have no choice
I must confess
This place has opposition
You may have to pass a test.
To see where you belong
In this world of wonder?
Or down where the shadows creep
And a horrid fire burns
Where they curse and where they hurt
To them, the light, it burns.
But there is no need to worry!
What will come, will come.
After all, the test is just
How you played your life's' song.

No, it was not supposed to rhyme.
