A fellow writer of mine used the roam this section. She’d write haikus quite frequently and review almost every haiku that was written. Her name was Princess Mulan. We here at FPNET have given her the title: Queen of the Haiku. To read her magnificent work go to this address:

Her spirit and energy kept this section alive and inspired countless authors including myself to pick a pen and start writing haikus. She had been in absence for a long time and left many of us worried. However, we were recently informed that she is safe.

The haiku section has seemed to dwindle a bit from her absence, and I feel a personal obligation to do something about it. In my opinion, even the smallest contribution I can offer will make a difference. After contemplation, I have decided to do a haiku every other day. I hope my effort will cause others to write more haikus, and I hope this renews some life to this section.

This entire collection will dedicated to Mulan, because she is the reason I started to write haikus in the first place. She may not physically be among us, but her spirit will live in the authors she touched and through her writing.
