There is so much evil in this world
So many unkind words that are spoken
So much forgiveness that is not granted

There are so many vows that are broken
So many dead for unknown purpose
So many lies for selfish reasons

So many days of idle work
So much hatred that is declared
So much anger that is unnecessary

So many deeds that did not occur
So much light hidden in the darkness
So much sadness in world full of tears

There are so many ways to fix a wrong
So much potential that could have been shared
So much life that could have been lived
So much truth that will never be known
