There once was a guy who was different than most, But he had no clue that he'd soon be a ghost. He had his own style and made his own rules, He was usually alone, especially at school. Each day he would walk, down the long halls, With torment and hatred given by all. But one day was different, not the same, Fate had just added something new to the game. It was just like magic how she came into sight, In his eyes she glowed with heavenly light. With each step they took, their heartbeats raced, Until finally they stood, face to face. A few moments passed, no words were spoken, Still they stared, their gaze never broken. The guy wished to speak, but couldn't think how, He'd never seen beauty as he saw it now. "Are you an angel?" was all he could say, She replied, "Not just yet, but I will be some day." Each time after that, they were always together, True love had done well, it couldn't have been better. The two new lovers were a perfect pair, Each were just alike, except for their hair. They loved the same music, food and drink, Both of them loved black, and hated pink. But this bond would soon break, a life will end, A heart will be broken, never to mend. For those that once mocked them would hear of their joy, Then jealousy would arise, with a plot to destroy. They shared one last kiss, but they had no clue, What the approaching crowd had set out to do. He held her close and blocked her from harm, His attempt failed, when a guy grabbed her arm. He spun her around and looked in her eyes, "Tonight little girl, you're going to die." Hearing those words, the young boy grew mad, He ran for the bully with all that he had. Though he was stopped short, held out of the way, With one crack of her neck, the girl passed away. The others cheered at the victory they had won, They didn't seem to care of the damage they had done. The boy was set free, left with only his screams, They fell on deaf ears, as though it may seem. Tears flooded his eyes, his knees went weak, He forgot how to stand and even to speak. He knelt by her side and lifted her head, It killed him to know, that his love was dead. With a few final tears, he left her there, The sight of her body, he no longer could bear. He needed to be with her, to hold her soft hand, All this in mind, he developed a plan. Her soul went to Heaven, he knew it was true. He needed a way to get there too. His sorrow lingered as he remembered their love, He longed to be with her, floating above. The boy reached a cliff, the highest around, A smile crossed his lips as he fell towards the ground. He took his last breath then his life was no more, There stood his love, waiting...beyond Heaven's door.
