There are only so many poems that I can write about you
Eventually it will all lead back to me being blue
I know it's crazy of me to think so much of us
But what can I say? I'm in pure lust
Just thinking of you sends shivers down my spine
But I get depressed when I know you'll never be mine
When the day finally comes that I'll see your glorious face again
I have a feeling that you'll have a lover, but I still wait until then
Even though I'll be sad that you're with someone
My day will be as bright as the sun
I would give anything to see you once more
It would give me the strength to go through the next door
No matter what hurdles life sends to me, I will always think of you
No matter how old you get... to me you will always be new
How I yearn to graze your light olive skin!
And how many times have I wondered what our lives could have been?
How tranquil those thoughts; how blissful those times
Their as soothing to me as the chiming of chimes
And I feel that you have damaged my brain
You have been to me as a downpour of rain
Anytime I may meet a potential lover
You will always be in my mind, you will hover
And since I've thought so much of you and the person I want you to be
When I meet the perfect man, he will not be good enough for me
Because you will be in my mind, or should I say, the you that I have made
And at the end of my life, I will have paid
I will have paid for my foolishness in lusting you so much
I will have paid for all those thoughts of your touch
My relationships with men will be down in a deep abyss
Because of the man that I lust for so much; for you, the man that I miss
So as the days and nights pass by
I will always sit and sigh
I'm going to be thinking of you all the time
And at that... I will end this rhyme
