My stomach turns in noughts at the notion
Sometimes I can't handle the commotion
The commotion of people crowding around you
When in reality they don't know the truth
They all know the nice side
But for me that side has died
I've seen the monster rouse in you
I've seen the malevolent glow in your eyes
That is what I've come to despise
But they all think you're too perfect to be evil
Too nice and humble to be prideful
They all make me sick
They watch you in wonder and awe
They sit at your feet by the table, hoping that you saw
They wait for you to throw them scraps
No matter how long time has elapsed
They worship the ground that you walk on
And look at your face as brighter than dawn
But you have betrayed me
You have let me see
Let me see the beast that lays in your personality
You have made me come to reality
And though, for that, I am glad
I still can't help but be sad
Thinking about all the people that you will one day burn
And how they will soon learn
But they will know their lesson when that time will come
And then they'll be shocked and numb
And I will only be in the corner with my arms crossed, sitting low
Then I'll say, "I told you so".
I only warned you about a thousand times
But for now you'll sit and stare at her beautiful face and body
You won't ever see the side of her that's haughty
She'll conceal her true self for now
And you will make a vow
To never leave her side
But mine will always be open wide
So that when she lets her wrath out
You will have a safe house
A refuge in me, because I extend that invitation
But you must first come to a realization
She will conceal her true self... for now... Everybody is her fool...
