Unsure of what to do
Might the beast come for you?
To take what is his,
Hunger makes the fear grow thin.
When your senses deceive you,
Do you trust your eyes and ear?
Uncertain whether to run or stay.
You struggle to see what comes this way.
The mind unfolds, the body freezes,
As he towers over you.
Fear drives any logic from the mind.
For he is your worst fears come true.
The confusion is thick,
As if but a heavy fog upon the mind.
The mind is lost and weak,
The body can't handle anymore.
Feeling as though you're falling,
As body sinks to the ground.
The mind has failed,
Blissful darkness takes over.
