Aurora, walked silently along the street she looked into the trees just wishing she had wings and could fly with the birds through the green trees. Aurora never talked, she had no friends. Most felt sorry for Aurora, but some thought she was happy, alone, with no friends. The truth was most wanted to know why she never talked. You see Aurora lived in Rainy Days Helping Hand Facility For Girls. This is an orphanage for depressed girls in most cases the girls witnessed their families death. Aurora and all the other none dangerous girls went to the local school most of the girls made friends and were treated like normal people but Aurora was not for she still refused to talk.
As Aurora walked along the street she looked into a puddle but she did not see her self she saw her little sister Kitty. Wishing that her family still lived. She remembered what it was like when she was 7 years old.

That morning of June 24th it was her birthday. "Rora, come down stairs, Aurora!" Aurora's mom shouted up the stairs.
"KITTY, tooth paste is for brushing you teeth it does not belong in my eyes!" Aurora screamed at her little sister.
" I-I-I-I'm sorry Rora. I-I-I-I didn't mean to." Kitty stuttered and started to cry.
"I. wish you were gone!" and with that Aurora stormed down the stairs and left for school. Aurora or Rora was a semi-popular in school and always had friends by her side. That day when she got home the door was open. She walked up the stairs she saw that her parents bed room door was broken when she ran in she saw that her parents and her little sister had been stabbed to death. "Ro..Ro..Ro" Kitty stirred, Aurora ran to her little sister and picked her up.
"Kitty, I'm sorry about this morning. I love not Hate you, LOVE." Aurora said as she started to cry. With that Kitty smiled then her head fell back and her body fell limp. Kitty was dead. LOVE, that was the last word that Aurora ever said. That day she decided that it was her fault her family had died and she would never talk again. Somebody called the police when nobody left the house for 3 days straight. When the police came they found Aurora in the same position she was in when Kitty Died. The police took her to Happy Ways Orphanage for girls.

Aurora was walking up the stairs of Rainy Days when councilor Jean called her name. It was time for counseling. She went to the soundproof room and sat on the couch. Right away Councilor Jean started talking, "Aurora, please, you need to talk. If you don't you might end up here forever. We could start you on a fostering program if you would like. Yes, I think that might work. We might be able to keep you in this area. Do you like the idea if you do we will start looking right away." Aurora nodded and left to go to her room.
When Aurora got to her room Zen her room mate was already there. "Hey, Rora." Zen said looking up from her homework. "Rora, are you starting the fostering program today." Aurora nodded then got out her homework. She had to write an autobiography.

Aurora was adopted within a week of her arrival. Mrs. Peterson wanted someone to do all the work in the house she thought who better than an orphan. Aurora did exactly as she was told but when she didn't talk for three months Mrs. Peterson brought her to Rainy Days but Mrs. Peterson had also made Aurora untrusting to people. Instantly Aurora was roomed with Zen under the untrusting section.
Zen saw her older brother murdered about the same time Aurora saw Kitty die in her arms. "Hi, I'm Zen. What is you're name?" Zen said looking up from her book.
"Zen, this is Aurora. She will be rooming with you for her stay in Rainy Days." Councilor Jean said then she turned to Aurora "Honey, will you go down the stairs in the third door to the right Councilor Lie will be there can please hand her this note." Aurora nodded and left the room.
"Boy, I don't think we will ever shut Aurora up." Zen said sarcastically.
"Zen Aurora was brought in from an adoptive parent who gave me her papers. Will you look them over . The adoptive parent says Aurora wouldn't talk. Don't be to quick to judge her." Name: Odelet, Aurora, Raven Age: 8 Reason: Family stabbed to death

Aurora walked into the room and made her bed and packed her dresser with all her belongings. Then she sat on the bed and stared at a picture if Kitty. "Hey Aurora, in about half an hour we will be having supper, Zen its your turn to set the table so I will see you in ten minutes. After that you will come collect Aurora and introduce her to the rest of the borders." Councilor Jean commented.

Aurora finished her home work then went to see if she could get an excuse for the auto biography. Zen said all she needed to do was put the home work in the excuse box and the excuse would be on her dresser after supper. Zen was right but Aurora was beginning to get nervous about the fostering program. But she turned out the light and went to sleep.

At school the next day during break there was a fight Lillian one of the more unpredictable girls from Rainy Days got in a fight. Kelley had called Lillian a dead beat orphan that is nothing but trouble. Next thing anyone knew they were fighting and no one not even the school authorities. Could get them to stop. Aurora had an idea. She went into the middle of the fight and pushed Kelley and Lillian apart enabling the authorities to hold them back. Aurora went back into her corner hoping no one would care.
"Aurora , why don't you and Zen walk Lillian To Rainy Days." Mrs. Jennings, the principal, said. So Aurora had a surprising aspect. She never talked and yet she just broke up the biggest fight in school history.
"How did you ever break up that fight?" Zen asked. Aurora just shrugged.
"It's not my fault Kelley shouldn't of called me orphan freak. If she just treated us like every one else nothing would have happened." Lillian said defensively. Aurora saw that Zen was about to comment and tapped her on the shoulder and shook her head. Zen didn't care if Aurora had to break up another fight she had to put Lillian in her place.
"That doesn't matter Lillian, You still shouldn't fight. If Aurora didn't break up that fight you'd be in Juvie Hall. You should be grateful nothing else happened!" shouted Zen
At those words Lillian threw a punch at Zen. It was stopped by Aurora's hand. Kelley tried again but was once again stopped. Lillian stopped amazed at the reflexes Aurora had. And Zen looked just as amazed. Aurora just looked Lillian in the eyes witch made Lillian relaxed and Aurora decided she could let Lillian have her hand back. "Aurora, What, how, I mean where did you learn to do that." Zen asked knowing that her question would only be followed by silence.

* * * Mrs. Peterson had beet Aurora but soon Aurora started to become very good with her reflex's but the better Aurora Became the more frustrated Mrs. Peterson became. Soon aurora became good enough that Mrs. Peterson grabbed the weapon and when she went to strike Aurora , She caught it and yanked it away from Mrs. Peterson. The look of hatred and distrust in Aurora's eyes made Mrs. Peterson realize that If she did not find a place where this girl could be contained then Aurora would become consumed by that hatred and become mean, disrespectful, and maybe a killer.

* * * Aurora tripped for the first time Zen saw the girl trip since she had been brought to Rainy Days. "um, Aurora did you just trip?" Zen asked her waking Aurora from her trance. "aurora just started running to Rainy Days, She couldn't start loosing her self now, she would get her foster assignment when she arrived to the orphanage.
