a great evil. From here their journey to and for a few back to Perisvam
begins..
~*~
Perisvam.
I wonder if I truly am alone in the world of vampyres, they stare so at me and I know they know my true history. I am mortal and they are not. Yet they refuse to kill me. Is it because in some way I might be protected by one of them "Are you going to stand there all night thinking? Move it we have to go." Ame nodded and followed after Dean, she pulled her cloak tighter to her in hopes of keeping the rain off of her.
She looked up briefly at the stormy sky, blinking as the rain hit the same colored eyes. "Hurry up Ame I am not going to wait for you any longer." Ame ran after Dean silently just like she was taught. I was told that I was brought here when I was only four, so I know that I was raised here. I'm 16 almost 17 and I have never seen another mortal. I can't even remember my parents. Last time I saw them I was five.
"Where are we going?" She asked in a small voice, "You have been
taught to hold your tongue so do so and shut up. I have no time for games
to day we have to be there at a certain time and since you are," Dean said
harshly "impaired we have to walk quicker." "Then why don't you." Ame
began, "Change you? You know I can not do that"
Not ever again, I don't know why you continuously ask for the change.
You don't even know that it was I who killed your parents that night they
disappeared. And now I have to watch over you and in having done so I have
gotten close to you. I can not ever wish the change on you, simply because
I don't want you to go through the hell I do.
Dean picked up his pace frowning as Ame sighed. He knew that this would probably be the last time he ever saw her, and if he did see her she would never be the same mortal girl he fell in love with.
His own life stopped at 19 some centuries ago, he never lost his hair color or eyes, and the only thing that happened to them was that they became a deeper darker black. His skin at the time had already been pale so that only changed very little. Dean turned to the left as another approached him. He narrowed his eyes as he picked up the aura and instantly hated it.
What do you want? He thought venomously. Still playing with mortal's I see. I can also tell what you are keeping back from the others. You know falling in love with a mortal is a waste of time. You should just kill her now before He gets the chance to kill her, or better yet make her his vampyric whore. The other smiled at Ame and nodded at her. You little shit you are going to pay! "Ame come here." Now just because I am a hundred years younger doesn't give you the right to hurt me. I unlike you have been working with my powers. The other moved over to Ame before she could go to Dean's side and put his hands on her shoulders and brushed her black gold hair away to show her neck, then slightly tilted her head to the side exposing her precious vein.
Hurt me and I hurt the girl as he thought this he leaned down to rest his lips on her neck as Ame stilled under Zach's control. You bastard leave her alone! Dean glared at Zach crossly. For now I will but you just wait. Zach shoved Ame harshly causing her to fall towards the ground. Dean moved with out a thought and caught her, as he did the scent of blood reached his nose. Damn it he cut her open on purpose.
Fighting to keep from draining her he helped her up and looked for the cut. Just where I thought it would be he just broke her skin when he put his damn lips on her. "Are you okay?" "Just walk in front of me and stay where I can see you." Ame nodded and did as she was told, figuring that something was bugging him.
She reached back and rubbed her neck unconsciously and felt a hot sticky substance. No wonder I have to walk in front of him, I got hurt some how and he doesn't want anything to happen to me. This is very confusing; I don't know why I bother to think about this at all. Dean cursed as he kept walking; sooner or later she is going to drive me crazy. Or worse some one else and it will just be my luck if Zach gets his hands on her.
He glanced at her as she walked ahead of him, shaking his head he returned to his thoughts. I can't even figure out why her aura is changing unexpectedly, why is this mortal girl so special to him. I also can't figure what is with the weather; it seems to change almost as quickly as her moods do.
Dean continued walking and glaring at anyone who even glanced at Ame, up a head Ame was talking to something black and fuzzy, as she spoke in a happy tone the rain begin to diminish and the sun came back out. When Dean was next to her he heard the fuzzy black dog speaking in a language he knew nothing about, except that it was the language of the Shadow Hunters.
The Shadow Hunters as far as he knew were much like the other Vampyres, and very ruthless when they hunted, which also means they hunted and killed Vampyres as well. They also could take any animal form they wanted, and in any color they wished as well. "Ame, get away from there." "I only wanted to pet it. You can't get hurt by petting a dog." Ame frowned causing the sky to grow cloudy.
The Shadow Hunter beside her moved closer to her just a wall of black- purple fire surrounded her. The moment the "dog" touched her it feel limp to the ground and the wall of fire faded. Not only did that happen but Ame was unconscious beside the Shadow Hunter too. "Ame." Dean was shocked, first her aura flared and showed in a physical form and then a Shadow Hunter drains her of the untamed magic instead of killing her to take it.
He knelt beside Ame and felt for a pulse, upon finding one he smiled. The Shadow Hunter, awoke and looked at him speaking quickly with Dean he introduced him self as Tooya. He confirmed Dean's suspicions about who he was. What surprised him was that this Shadow Hunter refused to hunt as the rest of his kind did, not only that but he was running from it.
Dean frowned a bit as he began to think, he knew that Ame wanted to get off this world and go somewhere where other mortals existed if he could only grant her wish then she would never belong to Him. But then he would never see her again.
Could he really bear not seeing her again? He shook his head, each way he looked at it he would never see her again no matter what he did. He looked at Tooya who nodded as the silent words were spoken; Dean leaned down and kissed Ame gently and quickly.
"Good-bye Kisha Fushigi. Guard her with your life Tooya." In an
instant both Tooya and Kisha were gone. Dean looked at the empty spot where
they had been moments ago smiling to himself he knew without a doubt that
wherever they went and wherever they go she will always be safe and she
will never forget him.
~*~
Icktheeous (Ek-thee-us)
Kisha awoke to the sound of running water near her; she sat up quickly to scan her surroundings for danger. Tooya lay not far from her in a black lion form, which surprised her as well as frightened her. "Who no what are you" Tooya glanced at her and spoke so softly and swiftly that to a mortal he had not spoken at all.
Yet Kisha understood him and everything he said. "My name is Tooya and I am your guardian. I take many forms you must not fear any of them. Kisha you must discard your old name and take this one, for it was given to you for your safety. We are no longer on the world in which you have been raised on. We are on a world called Icktheeous (Ek-thee-us) which means the world of Three Moons." Kisha nodded and stood, she turned and faced the running water.
Taking two steps forward she reached the small waterfall that was branched in to two parts, one part cascaded into a lake while the other rejoined the river. She held out her hand and caught a few drops of water before she spoke again "Tooya, why is the sun not to my back"
"The sun sets in the North and rises in the South here. The three moon sisters rise the same way. The biggest is called Dia which means Peace the middle one is Deia which means In-between (it could also mean Death as well) and is the smallest of the three. Dem the last one and the same size as Dia means Darkness.
Once in a while two moons will not rise but there is always one moon in the sky at all times. Hurry and bathe if you wish the moons are rising." Tooya turned and shifted to a black wolf to hunt for some dinner. About an hour later Kisha and Tooya were resting by a fire, when Kisha asked a question that had been bugging her since she got there.
"Will I ever see Dean again" "I do not have all of the answers to everything my child. Be glad he let you come here at all." Kisha nodded and looked back up at the Moons, as if he had read her thoughts Tooya began to tell her the Myth behind the three moons.
"Many centuries ago there were three immortal sisters, each had a special talent. Their names where Athadia, who was kind and caring of things while, Jessadem was the most reckless of the three. Lissadeia was much like both of her older sisters. The three sisters kept mostly to themselves unless they had to go to the nearby village and get something.
When they did need something Lissadeia was always sent to fetch it. It is very true what they said about the sisters' beauty, but all thought Lissadeia was the most beautiful one out of the three. The single village men each tried every time to get Lissadeia to go with one of them to become his wife, as always she refused. Her sisters were very protective of her so unnoticed by Lissadeia one of them accompanied her into the village.
After a few years of being rejected by Lissadeia the men got together and decided that if she would not marry one of them, she would not marry any one. Jessadem loved to create and use weapons of all sorts as that was her talent, the villagers knew of this and decided to use her talent against her.
Athadia's talent was to heal the wounded, as well as create peace and harmony among living things if she focused upon it. Like her sister the villagers knew this too, and concluded they should use it against her. (Kisha frowned feeling confused, "Why didn't they just use Lissadeia's talent against her?" "The villagers did not know her talent; now let me finish the tale.")
One afternoon a man rode up and came across the three sisters talking about something and called out to them, "I have a message for Jessadem and Athadia." At once the sisters fell silent and began to walk over to the messenger. "Welcome," Athadia greeted him and his horse, Jessadem just glared at him, "what is the message?" she asked in a cold voice which startled the man.
Lissadeia nodded at the man and went inside the house to finish her chores. "Miss Jessadem, the General asks if you would be willing to come and create weapons for his troops that are currently in a battle, and Miss Athadia he would like it if you came and tended to the wounded and helped him figure out a simple peace treaty to end the war."
Both of the sisters thought about the message and finally accepted saying that they would love to help out. Lissadeia stayed behind to watch over their small land and their possessions. Everyday she did her chores and hoped her sisters would come home soon.
She would look up into the moonless sky at night and try to read the stars for some sort of sign that her sisters were well or on their way back. Well one evening she was looking up as hoof beats pounded the ground behind her; she ignored them and called out a greeting to the riders as she looked upwards thinking it was her sisters.
The villagers rode up behind her and grabbed her, she cried out in surprise realizing that they indeed were not her sisters. Athadia and Jessadem realized as soon as they got to where the supposed battle was that their sister was in trouble. They headed back to get their sister and protect her. As they reached their home and Lissadeia they watched her get hung. Her last words were "I am glad you had safe return sisters." Jessadem lashed out with her magic and killed the man that murdered her sister.
Athadia wept silver tears and tried to heal her little sister, one of the men came up behind her and sliced her throat open killing her as well. Some of the stars witnessed this and got together to talk, all of the stars loved Lissadeia because she was always kind and took time out to talk with them, keeping them company while they were out at night.
After a little while the stars all agreed that they would use their magic to change the sisters into three moons. The remaining villagers turned to Jessadem offering her a chance to work as the village warrior since she was immortal. The stars reached the sisters just as the men asked the sisters this. The stars whispered their gift to them, Jessadem watched as her sisters were changed and then her turn came.
Only one man lived to see the creation of the moons and declared that they be called Dia, Deia, and Dem after the sisters. The reason that Deia is in between her older sisters is so that they will always watch over her. Now every three months Deia never rises in the sky and Dem along with Dia shine faintly which has an influence on certain creatures like Vampyres, my kind and other such things."
Kisha looked at Tooya, who had changed into a black panther, "I don't understand, if they were immortal how is it they could be killed?" Tooya looked over at Kisha who yawned the last word. "That is another story that I will tell at another time. Now tell me about your history since you yourself contain magic." Kisha blinked and leaned against him.
"Well I was raised on Perisvam (Pear-is-v-Bam. Silent B)..." Kisha
drifted to sleep not finishing her sentence. Tooya nodded reading the girls
thoughts as she slept. He half believed that Kisha was more than she was
led to believe. Tooya looked up Someday I will tell the other part of the
story to her she deserves to know. For now I will let her wonder about it.

Perisvam
Dean glanced once more at the spot where she had been before walking off and away from where he was supposed to be headed. A sound thudded in his ears and he knew who the cause of it was even before he felt the aura let alone the thoughts of the other. I see you misplaced your little mortal friend. I didn't misplace her, go away. Well touchy are we? You certainly didn't kill her. Hell with you, why do you care anyways? Ahh yes Hell is where we are or do you not remember the meaning behind our planets name. I don't care about her, but you do. I do not, just because you got busted for. Fuck you man lets not go into that. Now who is the touchy one? No, you know what just leave me alone. So no feelings for your old friend? You are not my friend. Zach laughed at Dean's face and revved his motorcycle before he sped off, leaving Dean in a cloud of dust. You are not my friend any more Zach, those days ended when you joined Him.
*~~*
"Hey Zach wait for me!" "Hurry up, otherwise you won't get any." "No fair" Little Dean chased after Zach with high hopes that he would win the race. Zach glanced back and laughed at his friends efforts to catch up, slowing down a bit and pretending to be winded he gave Dean a few seconds head start, again.
"Now, who is losing?" Dean shot back as he ran by Zach. "You!" Zach called back when he rushed past Dean in a small burst of speed. Up ahead Zach ran around a giant tree laughing as he collapsed on the ground in front of it. "See I win again!" "No Fair" Dean huffed when he finally reached the tree. He looked down at Zach and made a face, "Some how you cheated again." "I did not."
Did too and you know it. Inner strength my brother Yeah right you know it is something other than just "inner strength" Well come with me when I go to see Him, maybe you can learn too. No way, I don't see why you go to see him. I go because he is teaching us so much
Unknown to the two, who sat on the ground seemingly having a staring contest, a small girl and a boy snuck up on them and jumped them scaring Dean and causing Zach to laugh at his fright. "Zorith, Toranita why are you here? I thought you were both doing something for him?" Corey asked confused.
"Well we finished early and thought we would come join you two." Zorith answered in a bored tone while looking up at the tree. Toranita smirked and pushed Zorith forward. "Stop looking at it and climb it you know you want to." He glared at her, "Stop looking at my thoughts."
"Oh Yeah and who is going to make me. Certainly not some boy" She shot back to Zorith's remark holding back her laughter. Her deep chocolate colored eyes gave away every thing about her mood, and Zorith knew that. He looked back with his dark green eyes and then smirked as she landed face first in the dirt. "No fair you cheated." "So you did too." Dean yawned watching the two fight and looked over at Zach.
I say we split and go some where else if all they are going to do is show off their talents. Dean thought while yawning once again
At least we know they can't do this. We are supposed to be learning it at the meetings but so far, only you and I can talk to each other. Corey smirked as Toranita got Zorith to kiss dirt
Why don't you skip a meeting and stay here, with me we can race again. I will let you win. Dean smiled and held back his laughter, Toranita and Zorith kept going at each other. Zach smiled at Dean's offer.
No matter what I win. No I am going to the meeting He will get mad if I skip and forthrightly I don't want to meet. Zach shuddered at the mere thought of the object He used. I am not even going to say it. His feared weapon was worse than a whip, if it could be said to be.
*~~* Icktheeous (Ek-thee-us)
The next morning Kisha awoke to find her self alone. "Tooya, Tooya where are you?" Not finding him Kisha decided to clean up camp and walk towards the lake. On her way to the lake she had seen the previous day she got lost and ended up walking down a path in the forest she was in. As she walked down the path she had a feeling that she was no longer alone. She looked around her and noticed a figure leaning against a tree not far from where she was.
The figure turned at her footsteps and called out. "Hello?" the voice sounded harsh and cold. Kisha looked over at the figure and smiled. Good I can talk with this person and learn more about where I am and why it feels familiar. "Hello, can you tell me where I am headed?" Kisha asked politely, while walking towards the girl ahead of her. "You are headed towards Fallen Lake."
"My name is." but the girl cut Kisha off with a heartless reply even
though she knew the girl before her was lost, "Who am I to care what your
name is..." The girl turned and walked off deeper into the woods fading
from view. Kisha stood looking at the girls retreat; I had not asked to be
lost in this world. Tooya where are you?

Perseymiho (Per-say-me-hoe)
Kuriko awoke alarmed, for it was the first time that her dream ever felt so real. she was however interested in the world her dream had carried her too. Although she could have done with out the was her name.. that's right Kisha or whatever.
Another thing that interested her was how she knew where the girl was headed. Kuriko shrugged and got up, she could always ponder this question during class. Dressing as she always black bondage pants and her favorite black long sleeved safety pinned top, she quickly brushed her ocean blue hair.
Kuriko wasn't known to have many friends in fact truthfully she was a loner, no one seemed to like this girl who was tall, had waist length ocean blue was natural, and had never been dyed. Not to mention her natural sea green eyes. She was always in black no matter what the temperature was, and always seemed to know things about others.
As Kuriko walked down the hall and into the kitchen she noticed that
the apartment was still lacking something. "Mom?" Kuriko called out
hopefully, she stopped walking and glared at the counter. That same note is
still there.I already know what its says. sorry Hun had to leave for work
early. Yeah dad used that line saw him again. Bet mom isn't
coming back either. She's been gone for two months now. Kuriko hung her
head and opened the front door, she closed it softly behind her, No one
wants a messed up kid like me.
~*~
Earth
One time in England there was a pair of twins, whose lives were changed forever. Their names were Kurai and Karai Shisei which meant light and dark, and their last name meant life and death. Kurai had sandy blonde hair and fair skin, he also had light blue eyes. He was cheerful and upbeat and talked a lot.
His sister Karai had quite long hair that was such an indescribable black which held the same for her eyes. Anyone who looked into her eyes after the day of the funeral felt such sadness and depression one would want to kill them selves just to end the pain. Her skin was so pale it looked white, which gave her a vampiric look.
The funeral you ask, it was for their parents they were only five when they died. After that day Karai never spoke again. Of course they were put in an adoption agency and were adopted at age six.
The adoptive parents never like Karai, I suppose it was because she wouldn't enter the pink room they gave her, and preferred the attic which the houses previous owners' kid painted black and made into his bedroom, but that is another story.
It has been 12 years since the funeral and Kurai has been protecting his sister from all of the kids at school, their 17 and in their junior year. Can he still protect her when she's going through some things only she can see?
Karai opened her eyes and looked at her clock, it was midnight and she was still afraid to go back to sleep. That dream again, I'm tired of having that dream. She rolled over falling asleep instantly, in her dream she saw her self in a grave yard. Up a head of her she saw an angel sitting on a tombstone. The angel had one white wing with a few scattered black feathers, and a black wing with a few scattered white feathers.
Tears of blood dripped down the angel's cheeks as she got closer the angel became clearer. Till she realized the angel was her and she was sitting on her own grave. Karai awoke yet again this time she sat up, and got out of bed to light some incense to help calm her.
"Good Karai you are awake," a voice in the dark called to her softly. "Karai no need to be frightened." Karai looked around her room trying to figure out where the voice was coming from. "I am dead my dear, a ghost floating on with endless time." Karai looked up and saw a woman sitting on a rafter on the ceiling. "Oh don't worry love, you are the only one who can see or hear me."
Karai fell to the floor in fear, she tried to tell the woman to leave her alone but couldn't. Kurai came up the stairs and found his sister lying on the floor looking upwards. "Karai, you okay?" Karai shook her head no; her brother walked over and helped her up. "You will be soon. Go back to sleep you need it, I'll see you in the morning."
As Kurai left the room the ghost opened the window shutters letting in the full moons light. As it spilled onto Karai it changed her look, from long black hair to long black silver, with a black silver tail, and if she had her eyes open they would have gone from black to violet. Upon her head sat a pair of silver black tipped ears. Upon her back was a pair of folded wings, just like the dream Karai.
Kurai paused and looked back gasping at his sisters sight. He walked in to the moonlight and looked at him self; he had not changed at all. "Oh sister what is going on?" For you see, although the twins were born on Earth, they were really from a planet called Taiearth.
Kurai turned to walk out of his sisters' room, not noticing that a sliver of the moon's light touched him, making his short unruly hair longer and more silver, along with a pair of silver grey wings, whose tips just brushed the floor. The ghost just looked down and smiled, "soon you two will head for home where you belong on Taiearth." It faded away into the night.
The next morning Karai awoke and rubbed her head, she felt different somehow but wasn't sure how. Kurai walked up the stairs and looked to his sister, "You alright Karai?" ~I'm fine Kurai, I just feel different somehow.~ "What happened to you last night, you have the graveyard dream again?"
Karai glared at her brother, ~Look I don't care what you say, its telling me something.~ "Just like the night you saw mum and pop's funeral in a dream." ~Two days before they died. But this dream is different, it's telling me to go somewhere.~
Kurai sat on the bed next to his sister, and leaned his head on her shoulder, ~And everyone says you're the brave one little brother.~ "It's true you protect me more than I can protect you. So where are we going to go?" Karai looked out the window to where she was sitting could barely see the moon, "Taiearth." Was the only word she spoke, although it was ever so soft that many people would have been left guessing what she said her brother heard it. "You always did have the voice of an angel."
Karai looked at him sadly and walked to the window. *Damn, I never get more than one word out of since she stopped speaking after our parents died.* ~You know I can't speak, if I were to it would only cause trouble.~ "I'm here to protect you." She nodded and went to grab her backpack, ~I'm glad I got this when we went hiking, you better pack too. If you're going with me, I'm leaving in an hour.~
Three hours later the twins found themselves trudging through the woods, lost and bored. "Look we are alone, will you just talk to me." Karai shook her head and pointed, up ahead of them was smoke from a cooking fire. Kurai walked ahead of his sister to go check it out and found him self face to face with an Indian.
Karai walked up behind him and looked at the Indian silently, ~He will
not hurt us, and he is merely doing as his chief asks. Follow him to the
village we will learn more of our journey there.~ Kurai nodded and followed
He Who Is Swift, after learning his name through his sister. *I admire her,
she has the gift of telepathy and universal translation. My gifts are not
nearly as great*
Karai glanced back at her brother as sadness shone in her eyes, ~You
know that those are not all the gifts I posses. I feel it, I am not sure
what it is but I have yet another gift and my brother I am not sure this
gift is so good.~
Once at the village the twins got some important information about how to find something called Yetsou (Yet-Sue), they also learned that a Yetsou is a rift in magick and it can take them anywhere they want to go, but it could also take them some place unexpected as well. The twins nodded that they understood what the chief was telling them.
They also understood that the Yetsou was also very unpredictable and one way. they would have to search for another one or another way to get where they were going. There was of course a way to trick the Yetsou and come back to where you started, but you would have to be anchored to the other side and carry your anchor with you to tie it to something so that you may pass through and return home.
Kurai looked at his sister and smiled, ~Maybe they will tell us where to find one.~ Karai suggested to her brother after the tale was over, Kurai nodded and looked to the chief, "Chief will you tell us how to find this Yetsou?" The chief stood and called out for another traveler that knew of such a place.
A girl with a pair of black hip huggers and a black tank top walked forward, her sea green eyes were cast down ward and her deep ocean blue hair fell over her shoulder in a braid, "You called for me chief?" "Yes, Flare take these two to the Yetsou." The girl nodded her head and turned to the twins, She took there hands and lead them out of the village. As they walked in the twilight, silence filled the air.
"Karai, you may speak freely with me." Karai looked shocked and glanced at her brother, Kurai opened his mouth to speak when the girl interrupted him, "Silence, she has a tongue and she can use it." Kurai tried again to speak but found he couldn't, "Brother," Karai cried out when he fell silent she turned and glared at the girl.
"Flare what have you done to my brother?" Flare laughed, "Karai you have an angelic voice, it is such a pity that mortals can not hear it. Yes, Karai you are the angel of death, the taker of life while your brother is the giver of life. He and I can hear your voice and feel no pain."
Flare closed her hand and reopened it, in her palm lay a small necklace with a crystal, "Where this and feel free to speak, it will make your voice safe for mortals to hear. You may speak now Kurai." Kurai spoke angrily, "Just what gifts do you how do you know more about my sister than she does?"
Flare smiled and answered, "My gifts are, knowledge of others and other things, and their gifts. It is also none of your business, oh and here is another sweet thing about my gifts. No one can figure out what my gifts are. What you are searching for is on top of that mountain."
Flare turned and walked away from the twins fading into the darkness.
"Sister I am confused greatly but if what we seek is up there." Karai put
on the necklace and watched it glow, "Then by all means brother let us go
get it."

"Kuriko Shadowhunter detention!" The teacher shrieked as Kuriko looked up sleepily from her notebook. "Sorry sir, I haven't been feeling well," She explained quickly as the teacher handed her the detention slip anyways. That dream felt like I was right there, boy those twins sure were amusing. I wonder if they are real?
She yawned and then stood up walking to the door as the final bell rang. She cared less about detention, and wanted to go home and sleep. All these weird dreams make me more tired in this world than it feels like I am in the next. She trudged the six blocks home and set her stuff down on the kitchen table. Minutes later she was asleep on her bed in her room.
~*~ Icktheeous (Ek-thee-us)
Kisha continued to wander down the path, a feeling that Tooya might be waiting for her encouraged her onwards.
