Collapse

By Sukunami Taka

Shining desire,

Is dwindling,

Collapse,

It hearkens after a heartbeat,

Pulsing none, it flees,

Far to fall apart,

It can feel no more,

Nor hear,

Nor fear,

Pity the man who touches no one,

For he can do it no more,

Shuddering heart,

Still, held in enclosed carcass,

It learns late, too late,

The meaning,

That wrought its existence,

Forsaking the last,

Non existing dust.
