I wish...
I could spread my wings and fly,
Soar off the edge of a cliff,
Fly with the eagles,
Into the horizon.
And if one day my wings disappear,
And if I cease to soar,
Then I will fall to my death,
As birds have done before.
I wish...
I could dive into the ocean,
Swim with the whales,
Sing the dolphins song,
In the dark of the abyss.
And if one day I sufforcate,
And if I cease to sing,
To the ocean depths I go,
Wherever the tide will bring.
I wish...
I could run through the forest,
Deers at my sides,
Swift-footed as a fox,
Surrounded by twisted trees.
And if one day my feet slow,
And if I cease to run,
Let nature devour me,
As does the burning sun.
I wish...
I could survive in the arctic,
Safe and warm as a baby seal,
And fly through the water,
As flightless penguins do.
And if one day my body grows cold,
And if I cease to breath,
Slide my body through the snow,
Into the icy seas
