God's a Rainbow Child

Be God a girl or boy, or it?, the rainbow would always be the same. This is the first nature poem that I have written in a long while. I find this one funny and adorable, let me know what you think.

What if God is nothin' but a child up in heaven?

Who, every now and then, slips and falls down, crying tears of rain?

But like all kids, plenty of candy and kisses always takes away the pain,

And the rest of the day is spent hanging from a cloud,
