We’re all a voice

Spliced together in white noise

Categorized but indiscernible

Original but too many

Back in gym class

Back when we would all scream

No matter how hard I tried

I could never hear my voice

We’re all in that room

Sound waves bouncing back and forth

Trying to be louder than the rest

Wanting to be heard over the noise

But just comprising the roar
