Reflection from the Broken Mirror

My angel

My love

If you could paint blood red

With the fiery tendency of love

Then love my heart

And love my soul

And watch me bleed

If I could die a thousand times

Could I love a thousand more

When coveted death burns my soul so

If I should love one.....

And never more

Would I die if that love left me

Or would I love him even more

Would he return to my open

Broken arms

Would he caress my bloodied soul

Or would he stay at bay

In the wishful dreams of another

As life carries me on golden wings

If love should taint me so

Should I strip myself of these beautiful feathers

And bleed them dry with love

Would I be human then?

My angel

My love

Carry me on your broken promises

Feed me horrors of lies beyond

If you let me embrace your colds depths

Of a once beating heart

My angel

My love

I beg of you

Love my heart

Love my soul

And watch me bleed.....

For you alone
