There is no romance here,

No shiny sparkles or rainbow bubbles.

It’s all about survival.

Do you think I’m staying here for love?

You’re fooling yourself;

I’m more practical than that.

Yeah, there are times

When I stop to think about love,

But not for long—who has time?

I have already noticed

You love me.

I’ve noticed, but I don’t care.

I know

You don’t like hearing that,

But I have to tell the truth,

And you have to see

Me.

I don’t love you, never will.

Yes, I love you.

But I’ll never let you know.
