Hmmm. I'm full of writing inspiration. I might even continue on my fanfic too. I did get a real life review from my old sophmore teacher. Well, its really reassuring that he liked it, so I am satisied. _ I like this story too much to give up on it too. And since my art site will be up soon, I'll post my character desgins. Oh, yes...Layafette looks a lot like Lucius Malfoy...ehehehheh....

PREVIOUSLY...

It seemed the whole room had came in contact with a barrage of a group death they way all of them were focused on Layfayette and Lazurus. Lazurus folded his large arms and eyed Lafayette with a dark look of spite. He licked the inside of his mouth, pursed his lips and said:
"Wouldn't you like to know which wanderer I am refering to?" Lafayette grinned mencingly. He stalked forward to Lazurus and got into his face.

"Let me guess. He's the one who has Lumiere right now, right?"

Silence.

"I know who he is unlike you." Lazurus said as-a-matter-of-factly. Marcel walked forward and dragged Lazurus to a small doorway and muttered something in Gaulic.

"I will not have him go Lumiere," She softly wailed to Lazurus. He blinked. "He will corrupt her!"

"She will be tested, Marcel," Lazurus put a firm hand on Marcel's shoulder. "It depends how she reacts. Her inner self is the one that will be measured. If she loses herself in a bloodlust, she will become Vlad Tepes. But if she doesn't, she will grow old and live normally. But the time to prevent your daughter from meeting the wanderer has passed and there is nothing more you can do. Only time will tell if he will be beneficial to her or not. The is nothing you can do. Lumiere will stick to her bloodline."

Marcel softly murmered. She clasped her hands to her face.

"...I should have kept her hidden," Marcel's eyes twinkled in the dim light as tears flooded threw her brown eyes. "I-I wanted her locked away..."

"You made it worse," Lazurus shoke his head. "I know your intentions were good, but when she discovers the beast of blood, she will be corrupted."

Marcel walked out in the hallway leaving the rest of the coven stund. Lafayette jerked his bitter green eyes met Lazurus' eyes.

"So..now what?" His thin lips converted to a smiteful grin.

"You wait." Lazurus said simply brushing him off.

It was very cold at the last train station outside of Bordeux. The rain had finally stopped and very few people were out. Lumiere didn't have time to enjoy the after smell of rain. She had to keep moving. There were enemies of the Versilles clan after Vlad and he noted they might be looking for her too. Lumiere had to stay under his watch to her annoyance. So, they moved quickly threw a small crowd of middle-class people. Vlad and Lumiere stood behind an elderly woman and her much younger male caregiver. She had her hair in a even tighter bun (which was thought impossible to Lumiere) than Lumiere's. She did look to be around the age of sixty. Her bony hands were kept in a brown fur muff that completely matched her jacket. Her dim eyes wandered to Lumiere.

Lumiere was partially wet and her cheeks mad her even younger looking than ever. She looked up at the woman as she smiled softly. Vlad seemed indifferent and stared out to the tracks, looking onward.

"Your daughter is very beatiful, sir." She said warmly. Lumiere bit the inside of her lip in frustration. "I am NOT his daughter!" she shouted in her head. Vlad turned to her and his tired green eyes narrowed. The elderly woman smile still haven't left her face.

"How old are you, little girl?" She turned warmly to Lumiere. She shifted nervously.

Tell her your twelve. She not need to know your real age.

Lumiere blinked. Had Vlad just put a message in her head? She brushed it off mentally and opened her mouth innocently. "I am twelve." She said sweetly trying to hide her bitter feelings. The old woman noded and turned around. Lumiere shot a quick anger look at Vlad. He howver, was focused on the railroad again.

The distant whistle finally blew thrw the evening and voices stirred along with it. Vlad let out a sigh of frustration. He was so close to Lumiere, she felt him exhale harshly. She blushed again.

The train finally stopped and the screeches of its breaking shoke the ticket box as it finally ceased to move.

"Grab your sword and lets go," Vlad told her icely. Lumiere clutched the long sword in her coat and walked by his side closer than ever. "What are you doing?" His annoyed voice reverbed in her ears.

"I'm following you," She stated flatly as they continued to walk side by side.

"No need to get so close, little one," He added coldly. "I'll drink you dry." Lumiere stopped a foot behind and then picked up pace again. Somehow the threat worked with her. She winced quietly as they entered the car. Vlad took lead again and headed towards a desolate spot in the back. He placed himself on the seat quietly and turned towards the window. Lumiere sat next to him and looked at him quietly.

"...Vlad?" She asked timidly.

He turned his tired green eyes toward here without saying anything. Lumiere worked up more corage and asked him again:

"Vlad, why did I have to go along with that act?" She looked into his eyes.

"Because." He said flavorously. He started to turn his head towards the window.

"Can we at least get to know each other first, Vlad?" Lumiere eyes shifted.

"There is nothing you need to know about me, little one," Vlad retorted with a tinge of anger. Lumiere looked hopelessly at him.

"I really want to know who you are..." She turned away. Lumiere closed her eyes and force herself to sleep. But the train moved and shaked and it became difficult to sleep. She adjusted her small body against the large sleep, trying to make it comfortable but she could feel vibartion of the track. Lumiere softly groaned in the dark as she tried to sleep in the awkard position.

Before Lumiere could wake herself, Vlad placed a firm hand on her shoulder, startiling her. She rosed violently back up, pressed her back against the booth and looked up at him. Vlad looked down on her, seemingly irrated by the sunlight that was slowly creeping in.

"The sun will be up soon," His voice was brittle "And so our journy will be over too." Vlad rubbed his temple with his fingers, covering his soon-to-be migrane.

"What about you?" Lumiere looked up at him.

"I will be weak as soon as the sun comes up. I lose my abilities and a little of my sight." He noted quickly. Lumiere opened her mouth as if to say something, but nothing came out. She never seen a vampire wallk out in daylight, outside...not even her mother or the coven members.

She was openly worried about him. "What can I do?"

"Be a good girl and follow me. I need something to fall on." He grabbed his luggage and walked out into the isle, not even waiting for Lumiere. She quickly scampered behind him with her heavy bag and the sword hidden in her coat.

Ok, I openly admit this chapter scuks. However, I must write a Devil May Cry fanfic now.....^^ Buhbye and I hope all of you had a happy Christmas/Chunakah/Kwanza/Ramadan
