There is a man who stands in the rain.
Waiting at his bus stop as it pours
No awning to sheild water away
His head hangs in a personal defeat
And the rivulets do not encourage
With a muddy puddle as his witness
He swears "Never again."
Desolate in his soggy darkness
The bus arrives and the puddle scatters
Soaking the bus, he is gone
And the puddle whispers "Never again."
