Things That Were
By

I feel my soul is turning
I see the one I love
But I can not have them
My sorrow breaks my soul
I feel a pain deep within me
A pain suppressed
As my mind crumbles in the dust
It will avenge all who have made me
I have become this creature
Black, soulless, cold creature
For I feel alone
In a world of nothing
Where ignorance is blessed
Yet I am here
Am I really alone?
I see her everyday
I stare at her beauty
Is that all I see of her?
Or is it more then I believe?
Is she really the one for me?
Or am I living a lie?
These questions go through my mind
Always
I want to tell her how I feel
But it would be in vain
For it would change nothing
For the good
I would only let the blackness
Consume me
My heart; my soul my dreams
Turn me into what I fear
Turn me into what so many have become
That's what I must hold back my affection

I feel I see the world different
From others
Life was once a good and lovely
Now the world is darker
Miserable place
I love people too easily
There problems consume me
I fear I may die
Out of the love for others
I wonder if my kindness
Will come back at me
Haunt me to my grave
Will I be stabbed in the back
If I show kindness to them?

Here eyes
I loathe for them
There like of an angel
The light shines through them
Showing her true soul
Or is it?
Is it really a mask
Or is it?
Her body is so delicate
Like a flower
I could smother it
I am a fool
Her physical beauty is all I see
I don't see her inner
Males, it's all about appearance

I wonder
Sitting in the darkness
Do I know my true feelings?
Should I let others guide me?
Will they bring me down the wrong path?
Should I take my own path?
So many questions in the darkness.
I feel so lonely.
Away from others.
By myself.
In the darkness.
I would love to hold her in my arms
To be .
To press my her.
