In my land of dreams
He comes to me and takes my hand,
So charming he is to me that I can't take my eyes off of him
He lifts me up onto his horse
And we gallop away
The scenario changes so fast
It is no longer peaceful and quiet,
The dark swoons around me trying to steal my soul,
My charming prince tells me not to worry that everything is ok and that
It will not take me away as long as he is there.
He tells me that he will fight off anything for me, even if it takes his
life
He tells me that we are close to the world of life and that I won't have to
Worry about this horrible place.
I smile at his and believe his words and rest my head on his back and
loosen
My arms around his waist.
As I start to fall into a peaceful dream where he is with me,
An evil troll that passes by us starts the horse,
The horse turns sharply to the right trying to ride away fast from the
troll,
And as he makes that unexpected turn I fall off the horse and onto the
Dark ground.
I did not scream as I fell, and didn't scream when a group of trolls
Surround me.
Instead I curse my luck and my so-called charming prince.
I asked myself "If he meant what he said then why isn't he fighting
Them off? If he meant what he said then why am I here on the ground? If
He meant what he said then why am I not sunbathing or reading a book in
The world of life instead of being surround by this evil little things?!"
Then I think it was my own fault for not screaming out to him to save him
, But than the trolls would think I'm scared of them and try to torture me
And that's not going to happen.
Or is it?
The troll that I assume was in charge walked up to spoke and me
In what I think is troll language.
After 10 minutes of sitting there waiting for them to say it in words that
I would understand,
I noticed that the trolls aren't what people say
They haven't attack me and try to eat me for dinner or something like that
And they weren't that bad looking
They were actually kind of cute
After another 5 minutes of waiting in complete boredom,
I decided to do the unthinkable
I leaned over and kiss the guy in charge on the lips
The chief troll was caught totally by surprise but didn't hesitated to
Kiss back, and as he did the whole gang of trolls start screaming in joy
Next thing I know there is this flash of light and the troll that I just
Was kissing is a handsome dude.
He tells me that he is prince of the world of fun, and that the witch that
Turn him into a troll was his wife. After he was turn into a troll though
No one believes him and wouldn't even come near him. His so called wife-
the witch-
Took over his kingdom and has been making it a life of hell.
I nodded at everything then think "great another prince that wants to take
Me away to his world and blah"
Then he tells me his name -something the last one didn't do-, his name is
Prince-soon to be king- Alden.
Alden then stats that he wants me- me of all people- to marry him and
Become his queen.
I say yes, what else could I say? No cause my last prince wasn't all
Chalked up to be what I thought so I swearing off princes and
Kings for the rest of my boring life?
His face lights up at my answer and carries me away to his kingdom as I
Sleep.
When I wake up, I am on a fluffy white creamiest color bed that is beyond
Comfortable.
As I walk around the room I find a note from my prince Alden
In it he tells me that my wedding dress is laying on the tiny table next
To the window. He apologies for such short notice on the wedding but he
Couldn't have anyone steal his sleeping beauty away from him before he
Marries me, and if they did he wouldn't bare it. His heart would be torn
And that he would never love anyone else but me
I smile at the note; I see the dress and slip into.
After the wedding we go to the land of dreams to tell my family the good
News and that they wouldn't have to worry about the farm any more.
As we pass by the hill that my so called charming prince took me away from
I see another teenage girl around my age.
The so-called charming prince is trying to sweep her away to the land of
life
The girl's nose scrunches up and she punches the man in the nose and then
Knees him in the groan
I laugh out loud and my Prince- I mean King- Alden looks to me and asks
Me what is so funny.
I point to the girl and tell him of my life story before I meet him
We both laugh together at the end of my life story since it turn out so
Different then I thought it would of
For once I am glad that my so-called charming prince isn't as charming
As I thought he was... or as cute
