Sara brushed a strand of burgundy hair from her eyes as she hummed to Linkin Park on her stereo. Slowly, she dragged the glinting razor blood across her arm, and watched calmly as two drops of shining blood fell to the floor. "You know, that's not good for you." A voice from the doorway mused. "Oh wow, Dr. Camrin here to analyze my problems." she retorted, not bothering to turn around. Camrin shrugged. "So what are you doing tonight?" "Sitting here talking to you and that's it I suppose. Why?" she got a sudden glint of mischief in her eye. "Do you want to go out somewhere..with me?" she crooned. "Well, I thought we could go to the A&W down the street. But if you don't want to." "No no, I do!" she said, pretending to beg. "I love you Camrin!" He looked at her sideways and she gave him puppy dog eyes. "Pwease Camwin??" "You know, I didn't come here to get mocked about asking my friend to have some fun with me, Ill just go by myself!" he said, sounding thoroughly annoyed. He slammed the door and left. Sara sighed and sat down on her bed. She suddenly swiped the razor back across her arm. Blood literally poured from the 3 inch cut.
The next morning, Sara woke up slowly and rolled over. It was nine o' clock on a Sunday morning. That was good because it meant her dad would be working at the church until six, then going back at 7 for the nightly sermon, not to return home until twelve or later. If he really did that, that is. What he really did was go drinking with his buddies all day picking up hookers. But as long as he didn't bring anything or anyone home, Sara didn't care just so he was gone. Ring ring Sara grabbed the phone from the desk next to her. "Yeah?" she said, somewhat groggily. "Sara it's Camrin. I just wanted to apoligize for last ni-" "Go to Hell." She replied, slamming down the phone. She stood up and stretched, then went to her closet and threw on a red tubre top, black mini skirt, red fishnets and a black trenchcoat with red cuffs collars and seams. Pouring out some random cereal in a bowl, she gulped down her breakfast and then went back to her room. Pulling out her alto saxophone, she played for almost two hours without stopping.
