A Dragon's Tale

Long ago, when the world was young,
There lived a hero still unsung.
A knight who fought to prove his worth
to fight all threats to home and hearth.
One day, a dragon, fierce and great,
came to seal the warrior's fate.
The hero tried to hold it back,
ward off the giant beast's attack.
But alas, to his dismay,
the noble warrior lost the fray,
And, as he prayed to save his soul,
the fearsome dragon ate him whole.
There is a moral to this tale:
Don't ever try, for you shall fail.
A monster's strength and speed you lack.
Fight with dragons, be their snack.
