Missing Words

Sitting here,

Bored out of my mind.

Longing to discover,

The words I cannot find.

I see the blank page,

Wish I could make it full.

But the proper words,

From my soul I cannot pull.

The inspiration is gone,

It has left me on my own.

I cannot seem to create,

My usual written tone.

I feel so empty,

Missing part of my soul.

Without my writing,

I can never be whole.
