Loving you from distance, I admire you.

I look at you from the shadows, if only you’d knew.

This way I feel for you, it isnt normal,

And the relationship I desire isnt formal.

Such an odd way to feel, such a strange new person to fancy.

You admire and love others, but I want all your feelings to belong to me.

I am greedy for you, starving for your touch.

You talk to me, trust me with emotions, but it isnt much.

For this wanting I have, I don’t understand, but its great,

I’d do anything for you, at any rate.

Just to get you to look at me, feel for me the same,

To have you know how dull my days were before you came.

These feelings confuse me so, they make me reel,

I fear this will end with me in so much pain, that I wont heal.

I fear rejection, I fear loss, I fear pain.

I fear that in loving you, I will no longer be sane.

How do I live with this? This strange yearning?

I cant bear it, for I’m only just learning,

To deal with this brand new emotion, this new way of thinking.

I’m drowning in this new bliss, I feel like I’m sinking.

No cries for air, no cries for salvation.

I’m entering a world of sweet damnation.
