Letting It Go
By: Litt
Feb 4, 04
If I were to tell them all that was
It'll be said I am harsh and bold.
But I'm shaking, full to the brim now;
Why is it so cold?

Their laughs and words, so meaningless,
It hurts, yet I smile along.
You don't understand how strange it all seems,
Can't possibly see how wrong.

But they don't listen and I won't repeat,
Be content with this rare view of me.
No one else has tried nor cared,
No one else the priv to see.

So stay silent, dear, and hold it still,
I did not mean to pass this on.
Please keep this down, as I know you will.
Please, letting it go was wrong.
