My Mind

Black Beyond

It's a pain that can never leave.
One that has no real cause.
It's there, a filling emptiness.
And it attacks, never moving but without a pause.

Clawing ripping tearing,
It tries to eat my soul.
It's no reason to exist
But to try to drag me into it's own little hell-hole.

It brings memories and thoughts
Of twisted actions and hateful scenes.
It's only purpose is to destroy my will
It never holds back against the use of the most cruel means.

Voices, so many voices.
They all speak tales of twisted horror.
Telling me the time is now, to end it I know what I must do.
Telling me that all I must do is take my life to destroy their roar.

A blackness that devors my heart
It's emptiness more than a mortal can bear.
Like a monster wanting control
It's always there, waiting for the time, so be off-alert I do not dare.

It's my mind, raging for it's own word.
To let it speak I can not.
I must listen to every second of the day.
It's so sick, so horrible, the hateful scene of a horror's plot.

I've never heard of anything like it,
A twisting cauldron of evil.
Shall it always be there to torture me?
Shall my whole world always be in such a upheavel?

Write something in the box, please. I want to know if this disturbed you, digusted you, or a little lightbulb lit in your head and you went, "HEY! Dude, I get this!". So see the box? It's really such a lovely box, and it deserves something wrote in it. So humor it and write something and hit the little submit button, please. I'll love you forever and ever if you do...
