Skin

How could I forget that which made me alive

Him that opened my heart and let every sensation flood in?

I was propelled to the clouds naked and free of skin.

Floating, my senses were reeling.

My heart was finally beating, when I was with him.

How could I forget that which made me die,

Him that made me fall from the sky?

Soaked in tears, lying on the pavement,

Naked and devoid of my skin.

How could I forget he that ravaged my soul, when my life began and ended with him.
