As a blizzard of bravery, the sailors fought on,
Through the wet, chilling night and into the dawn.
The British sailors were outnumbered three to one.
The enemy would not relinquish 'til the job was done.
Of capturing the valiant British man-of-war.
Although surrounded, the British would not give up
Until everyone of them in heaven did sup.
Then on the morning horizon came a sweet harp of hope.
Two British vessels with which the pirates couldn't cope.
The sailors cheered joyfully with a huge roar
The ships sailed close and immobile was the pirates' ship rendered.
And so, with Jolly Roger lowered, the buccaneers surrendered.
An avalanche of adoration met the reinforcements
The treacherous pirates were marched off to meet law enforcement.
