Prayer

I pray that through the stormy clouds will shine a bit of blue
I pray that every lie I hear can't possibly be true
I pray that every step I take is part of who I am
I pray the mighty lion this time spares the gentle lamb

I pray that every morning hope will come to me again
I pray that even when I'm old I'll always keep my friends
I pray that there will be a phoenix rising to the sun
I pray, I hope for every heart there always is someone

I pray that in my lifetime I will cause the world to change
I pray that people finally see it's better to be strange
I pray there will be flowers to adorn my daughter's hair
I pray that every single day you'll always be right there.
