Era of Ashes - Chapter 1

Creeping over bloodstained fields was a figure, small in stature. Shadows rose stretched lazily, casting about in the pale light of the coming dusk, leaving that figure alone in those crimson grasslands - all alone. Stringy mud-colored hair rises and falls a bit in the evening breeze as the figure turns slightly, gazing out across the vast plain, once fertile ground - now a wasteland.
