You smiled at me, with the innocent smile that always warms my heart. You always said how happy you were with me and how you never wanted us to be parted. I reached for you as you let yourself fall into my arms, letting me to caress you. The taste of your sweet soft lips kept coming back to me, and I wanted you more. The way you draw yourself closer to me always drives me over the edge. You just smile… smile at me and give yourself to me. You were my world, my life and I would never have let you go.

Nevertheless, the wheel of fate had turned against us. I saw you there, out of my reach though I was close enough to save you. Filthy hands all over you body, touching you as if you were an empty vessel without a soul. You were calling my name over and over, to save you… but I couldn’t. Your screams echoed in the moonless night, tearing away the silence of the darkness. Ignoring the pain running through my body, I forced my way away from them only to see you lying there, life-less. I called to you but you didn’t reply, like you used to. The tears on your face were still there, as if they were marks for me, marks to show that I had failed to save you. I kept calling out to you and there was still no reply.

I could feel my body become soul-less and cloud of crimson fogged my mind as I picked up the blood-stained sword. This was the object they had used to kill you… to tear up your delicate skin and hurt your lithe body. I used it to repay the pain they had caused on you back onto them. I smiled at their terrified faces and felt the joy flowing within my body while I was hearing their screams. Corpse after corpse littered our room and the odor of the crimson liquid sprang strongly all around.

I went back to the place where my sleeping beauty slept. I raised your lithe body and held it closer to me, rocking our bodies together slowly. Yes… my love was only sleeping, and would awake when I had eliminated them all. I ran my fingers through the long silky hair gently; as I recalled the sweetest memory we had spent together. I kissed your wet crimson-stained lips and murmured my last words to you before they forced their way into our place and pulled us apart. I wailed for you to come back to me as they forced me away from you. I saw them take your body away, out of my reach.

Frantic, I had become, numb, I felt… before the darkness enveloped me.
