(And Jack Black being one of my favorite actors AND singers, I added him in one tiny part *smile*)
(Also be kind, my computer doesn't have spell check *sweatdrop*)
Gott sei Dank!
Chapter 1: der Kase
Who would ever think that something as little as helping a stranger could change someone's life forever.
This girl, Atsuko Ayasugi . . . .
The Key.
"How am I ever going to get home in time?" a girl with dark brown hair up in two small ponytails grumbled to herself as she stumbled through the busy streets of Tokyo, bags on each of her arms. She wore a pinstriped dress shirt with a vest over with a black pleated skirt. As well as argile knee highs and a pair of old black hightop converse.
"I have manga club, the fashion club, school plays, AND the mid-terms are coming up." She groaned as she thought of the over-whelming back breaking work she would have to go through to get through the school year.
She continued to ramble as she passed a man who seemed alittle angry as he banged his hand against the payphone booth window.
"Damn, ran out." He grumbled slamming the phone back into the cradle to which the phone would fit. (Dont know what thats called.)
He was a semi-tall guy with brown hair, mid thirties possibly. He wore a white dress shirt with a tie and a pair of forest green slacks.
"Oh, here sir!" Atsuko said as she approached him holding out a calling card.
He slowly and reluctantly took the card from her, and for the second their fingers touched, a flash of light shone in his mind revealing an image that caused him to step back from her.
Ignoring his stand-offish attitude she reached in her pocket and grabbed some change.
"And if it runs out, you can use this." She smiled and started on her way, again mumbling about her busy day.
"Thank you." He said softly as she disappeared from sight.
She smiled and clenched her fist.
"And on top of my busy, stressful day I still manage to be a good citizen!!!"
The moon started to come out as the stars picked out their places in the sky. Her house was lightly lit, only by the light coming from the room above the deck. Inside this room sat Atsuko as she leaned back stretching after what seemed like a long afternoon of painful mathematics.
"Arg, my arse, why do we need to know about consecutive intergers anyway." And with that she layed her head down her desk and fell asleep. (Ouch that will be painful in the morning.)
". . . . . . . Hello. . . . . . .?" she opens her eyes to a room full of darkness.
"Atskuo . . . . . . . . . . . "
"Mom?" she said as she turned around to a glowing figure standing before her.
She fell backwards and looked up. "You're the guy from this afternoon." She studdered out as she stared up towards the towering figure.
"The Key." The man eventually said softly.
"The what?" she asked as she nervously stayed down from where she had fallen.
"The Key." He grinned and reached out for her.
BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
She woke up bleary eyed as she stumbled up to shut off her alarm clock.
"What a strange dream."
The sun wasn't out yet, in fact it was cloudy and misting slightly. Atsuko made her way inside out of the cold. She sat by a corner waiting for her friend Yuki.
Yuki soon arrived, being late as she usually is. She had long brown hair and was wearing something similar to what Atsuko wore, which was their school uniform.
"Hey Ats!" she said as she approached her.
"Hey Yuki, I had another dream last night."
"Oh, another one."
They started to walk down the hallway for the homeroom bell was going to ring shortly.
"Yeah, but this time it was different, this time I wasn't dating Jack Black (which I would personally love *smile*), there was this other guy, I met him yesterday, well, I gave him change for a payphone, but he kept calling me the - -^"
She was interupped as she turned around and bumped into a guy, and much to her suprise when she looked up, it was the guy from her dream.
"Oh, pardon me miss." He said smiling as he contined to walk past her.
"That guy." Atsuko stood paralyzed.
"He was the guy from my dream."
