Socially Aware

If you wish to write a poem
Form it with great care
And above all else remember
Make it Socially Aware

It's okay if the rhymes are forced
The rhythm... off a nudge
If it's Socially Aware
It'll impress any judge

Write about death and drugs and war
Any other reason to cry
Fitting in, failure, lies
Or, muse forbid, some stupid guy

So when your sitting down to write
Pull from deep somewhere
Something; anything will do
If it's Socially Aware
